Our Indo-Oushak rugs are knotted with the same type of knot known as the "Ghiordes knot" (or Turkish knot) that is used in the original Oushak rugs of old. Such a knotting method allows for a denser and more durable weave which is less likely to shed over time compared to other knotting styles.
